Canhoto means left-handed in Portuguese, and can imply evil and general Bad Stuff. I'm a lefty, and my being transgender isn't a particularly positive happy undercurrent in my life, so there you have it. My name isn't actually Canhoto, naturally enough, but the pseudonym is okay.
